So i had to write this for school, i thought you might enjoy it
Epilogue
You can presume that by now, ten long years later, Mr. and Mrs. Bennet are long deceased. Old age caught up with Mr. Bennet and Mrs. Bennet’s nerves are no longer disturbed. Although all the Bennet daughters were deeply saddened by both these losses, they did not have much time to sit in their misery.
First you must know what happened to Lydia Bennet. If you happen to frequent the sorry streets of London, you might find yourself face to face with this sad creature that was once married to a handsome but dishonest man. Lydia and Mr. Wickham lived together for three years after their marriage but marriage to a naïve woman was not what Wickham desired. He wanted liberty. He wanted to charm ladies and spend money he didn’t have. So he left her. This was unforgivable. A man does not leave his wife without suffering consequences. But he did and Lydia was destined a life of shame and poverty. So she did what she felt was her only option but I do believe it too miserable to be mentioned.
Kitty married a handsome fellow from Scotland and moved to an immense estate in the countryside of Edinburgh. Mary was married to an officer when she turned one and twenty and they lived close to Longbourn so she could visit Mr. and Mrs. Bennet as often as possible before their deaths. Jane and Mr. Bingley, although being very social and hosting many balls, found the time to frequently visit their relations throughout the country and Scotland too.
Beg my pardon for being so obvious, but I do wish to mention that Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth did lead a harmonious marriage before this terrible incident.
This unpleasant incident changed the life of the Bennet sisters forever. In a figurative sense because after this incident not one was left with a life.
The first death was Kitty’s. She was putting her children to sleep and she heard the door close behind her. Her children’s screams were the last sound she heard. The second death was Mary’s. She was reading a book about Greek philosophy, when all of a sudden her red stained cheeks were lying on the pages. Next was Jane’s death. Jane was walking in the great garden that surrounded the house, but just one shot was all it took for the grass to surround her.
Elizabeth’s death was also very quick and unexpected. She was in the drawing room practicing her piano playing, when her heart was forced to stop beating.
Lydia’s death was last. It had taken him a long time to find all the Bennet sisters. Lydia was the hardest to find for she had no known or fixed address. It is unimaginable to think of the reason why he killed them, which is why we will never know. Mr. Darcy killed himself right after killing the youngest.
